The basics

What is ASIC mining?

ASIC mining is mining cryptocurrency with an ASIC, an application-specific integrated circuit: a machine built to run one mining algorithm and nothing else. Because it does one job, it does it thousands of times faster than a graphics card for the same power. That is why Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Kaspa and most other proof-of-work coins are now mined almost entirely on ASICs.

How it works

A miner makes guesses at the next block, billions or trillions a second. The first to find a valid one adds the block and earns the reward in new coins plus fees. On your own you might wait years for a block, so miners join a pool: everyone’s hashrate works together, blocks come often, and each miner is paid for the share of work it did.

Is ASIC mining still profitable?

For plenty of machines, yes. Right now 199 of the 545 miners we track earn more than their power costs. What decides it is the machine’s efficiency, what you pay for electricity, and the price and difficulty of the coin it mines. Those change every day, which is why our rankings are recalculated around the clock.

What makes a miner profitable

Efficiency matters most: the watts a machine burns for each unit of hashrate, measured in joules per terahash for Bitcoin miners. Newer generations do the same work on far less power, so they stay profitable when prices fall and older units don’t. After that it’s the coin’s price, network difficulty, and for Bitcoin, the halving that cuts the block reward every four years.

At home or hosted

Most ASICs are loud, hot and pull 3,000 watts or more, which is hard to live with and expensive on a household power bill. Hosting puts the machine in a facility built for it, on cheaper industrial power, with cooling and someone to fix it when it breaks. That is what we do: buy a miner, and we run it for you and pay out what it earns every day.

Algorithms and the coins they mine

Every ASIC runs one algorithm, and the algorithm decides which coins it can mine.

About ASICMining

What is ASICMining.io?

We’re a mining provider and a mining data company in one. You can browse every ASIC miner, buy the one you want at the best price we can find, and have it hosted and mining within a week, with everything included. Then you can follow every detail of it in our own mining dashboard.

What makes ASICMining different?

Most places do one part of this: a profit calculator, a shop, or a hosting site. We do all three in one place. We recalculate profitability for every miner around the clock, track down the best and most reliable prices, then run the machine at our facility with import, tax and shipping already in the price. Pool fees are around 1% and never higher, one of the lowest you’ll find, and if power ever costs more than a miner earns we pause it, so it never mines at a loss.

Can I use your data in my own product?

Yes. Anyone who owns one of our miners gets unlimited access to our APIs: live profitability, prices and network data for every miner we track, ready to build into your own tools or business.

What does hosting include?

Setup, power, cooling and round-the-clock monitoring, with fast repairs at our onsite repair centre. We have hydro slots ready to go at no extra charge, so unlike a lot of providers you don’t need to buy into a container. Air or hydro, any make of miner, we do the rest. Uptime is guaranteed at 95% for air-cooled and 97% for hydro, backed by mining compensation.

Can my team manage miners together?

Yes. The dashboard runs as many workspaces as you need, so you can keep a personal setup alongside one for each business or team. Invite people to monitor and manage miners with you, and share miner reports straight into your team chat as you grow.

What support do you offer?

There’s a dedicated support chat, and you can talk to us about custom or enterprise setups whenever you need to. Whatever the size, we’ll find a way to make it work.

How do payouts and payments work?

There’s almost nothing for you to do. Electricity is worked out automatically as your miner runs and settled before anything is paid, so what lands in your wallet each day is profit, with the power already covered. Payouts are daily, straight to the wallet you set for each coin, and every earnings report can be viewed or downloaded from your dashboard. You pay for machines in USDT or USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20), from your own wallet.

How do you calculate profit?

A miner’s share of the network hashrate, times the coins the network mints in a day, times today’s price, minus electricity. Everything we use and what it leaves out is on how we calculate.
